Apple Festival
We went to the local Apple Festival. I had heard it was a lot of fun but it turned to be not much more than a glorified farmers market. The experience was so underwhelming I almost forgot to blog about it! Here are a few pictures I took anyway. There was music and we had a little picnic with overpriced, under seasoned food. The mini petting zoo was the highlight for Audrey and Sadie and Wyatt were kind of bored. The pony rides closed before we made our way to them. We did get to tour the old Prairie town buildings. But where the heck were the apples?

3. Trail mix.
4. Chocolate milk - the only way I get milk.
5. Bacon, I LOVE bacon!
5 things I would do if I were a millionaire:
1. Build my dream home and if you know me, you know I can dream big!
2. Give family members lump sums to do as they wish.
3. Ensure college educations for my kids.
4. Invest.
5. Make sure my husband gets some really cool man toys, and vacations for us all!
5 places I have lived:
1. Oklahoma
2. San Diego, CA
3. Augusta,GA (N.Augusta, SC technically)
4. Columbia, SC
5. Topeka, KS

The Patch
Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch. We knew the kids would have fun, but never knew Audrey was such a little dare devil! She went through the Creepy Tunnel all by herself! She wasn't too keen on riding the train but Sadie and Wyatt thought is was fantastic. We each got a pumpkin, to be carved this evening. It wasn't nearly as chilly as last year and the kids are that much older so it was great family time.

Inside the HUGE pumpkin!

Don't make me ride the train.

Sadie Made the News!!!
Sadie was in a local news clip! At first you can see her getting ready to slide but they cut away. Then about half way through you'll see her trit trot through the center of the screen. Nothing major but wait until she sees it! Even cooler than when she was in the paper when she was two. Go here to view the clip.

One of my many duties...

It went like this...
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥I wake up this morning to a naked little boy beside me since he wet his bed and my 21 month old two inches from my face saying, "I see you mommy!". That was the best! After breakfast I decide to run the steam cleaner on the high traffic areas. The kids are in Sadie's room reading. I stop the steamer to check on them and S and W BOTH come running down the stairs telling me Audrey made a mess. On the way up I see a trail of bacon bits from the fridge up to the girls room. I open the door to see tiny bacon bits scattered on Audrey's trundle bed. So I pull the mattress out and drag the vacuum up and clean that. While sweeping the kitchen floor to rid it of bacon bits, Audrey comes up to me with brown smudges on her face. She found my hot chocolate cup (on top of the kitchen counter, I'm thinking maybe one of the others gave it to her) and drank it and poured it out. So I steam clean that. While using the bathroom, the kids are 3 feet away and manage to spread toothpaste all over my sink. Now if my children were at all compliant or reserved life wouldn't be this much fun now would it? No wonder its a job in itself to keep this place clean. Matt is out of town for ten days so they will have zero distrations in the evening for me to even attempt to clean. And at bed, they cry and cry about needing daddy's hugs and kisses. What am I to do? While it can be tiring and frustrating and even more than I bargained for on some days, it is still the life I choose and love.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
